Verdion has promoted Oliver Kemper to Investment Director as of 1 January 2023. Kemper is based in Verdion’s growing Frankfurt office and joined the company in mid-September 2020 as Senior Investment Manager.
Since then, he has been responsible for the identification, sourcing, analysis, negotiation and execution of investments as well as transaction management for acquisitions and divestments for Verdion’s European Logistics Fund 1 (VELF 1). VELF 1 invests in urban logistics and properties in well-established locations in Northern Europe with a total fund volume of €310 million. Capital raising for a second fund is now underway.
Following his promotion, Kemper will focus more on the acquisition of core-plus and value-add properties as well as brownfield opportunities across Germany. He will also be involved in the execution of business plans for existing assets.
Verdion expects the Frankfurt team to grow further in the coming months. Most recently, Nira Morres joined Verdion as Team Assistant. She previously worked as Office Manager at Mileway.
Florian Stöbe, Head of Investment – Germany at Verdion, says: “In addition to expanding his scope in acquisitions, Oliver Kemper’s promotion reflects his wide-ranging expertise and contribution to the continued growth of our investment management business. At the same time we are pleased to welcome Nira as additional support to our team in Frankfurt.”
