Verdion has secured two new occupiers taking a total of 414,829 sq ft of logistics space at iPort, the 800-acre multimodal logistics hub just outside Doncaster.
iPort offers three further buildings for immediate occupation ranging from 58,879 sq ft – 330,104 sq ft. All are certified BREEAM Very Good and EPC A.
Two further development-ready sites are allocated for build-to-suit opportunities, with a maximum size at iP4 of 42.73 acres with scope to accommodate a cross-dock distribution facility up to 846,250 sq ft deliverable in 12 months from contract.
Jamie Young, Development Surveyor at Verdion, said: “There has been a noticeable shift in occupier demand in the last quarter, with renewed appetite for expansion and a focus on high quality space. These deals underline the continued attractiveness of iPort – and its power capacity, multimodal capability and strong demographics – to a wide range of businesses.”
iPort is the UK’s most advanced multimodal facility, spanning 800 acres with 52 MVA power close to junction 3 of the M18 in Doncaster with 91% of the UK population within a four-hour drive of the park. Occupiers at iPort include Amazon, CEVA, Fellowes, Lidl, Dusk, Maritime Transport and Euro Pool Systems.
Its on-site rail freight terminal, iPort Rail, is now operated by MEDLOG, offering services to to/from Southampton, Felixstowe and Teesport and used by iPort occupiers and other businesses across the region looking to cut carbon within their supply chains.
GV&Co, CBRE and Colliers are the retained leasing agents for iPort.
