Verdion has leased the second phase of Verdion iPark Copenhagen.
A large Danish pharmaceutical company has taken the 26,000 sq m storage and distribution facility located close to Highway 16 in Allerød, north of the city, on a long-term lease. Its new, energy-efficient warehouse, which is targeting DGNB Silver, was developed speculatively and includes a PV panel-ready roof as well as 29 dock level doors and a 56m fenced yard with automatic sliding gate.
The first phase of the park extends to 12,000 sq m and was developed by Verdion in 2018 for a leading global 3PL, which continues to occupy the asset.
Daniel Carstens, Commercial Manager for Verdion, said: “This is our second completed and leased facility north of Copenhagen, tapping into demand from the area’s pharmaceutical cluster and providing high quality logistics space with excellent transport connections north and south. We are pleased to sign up this major occupier so soon after construction completed and will be supporting them throughout their coming fit-out works.”
Colliers was leasing agent for the park.
